DAN ALOE, PRESIDENT
Daniel Aloe is the president, co-founder, and sole owner of Capital Asset Protection, Inc. Dan became aware of the critical importance of dependable, professional security services through his years of working in various management positions in his family's various businesses including coal and aggregate mining, coke and iron production, and land development. In 1993, he and a colleague founded CAP together. Then, in 2004, Dan became the sole owner of the company. Dan is a prior board member of Imperial Land Corp. Aloe Mining Corp., Shenango Inc., Quality Aggregates and PTI Safety and Security Advisory Board. Dan is an alumnus of St. Francis University of Pennsylvania. He is an avid sportsman, enjoying skiing and ice hockey during Pittsburgh's cold winter season and road cycling and hiking during the warmer months in several states. |

MARK DREAR, VICE-PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Mark Drear has over 35 years of contract security experience throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions. Mark earned his Bachelors Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and immediately began his career with a national security company in Charlotte, NC. In 1988 Mark was promoted to Branch Manager and became responsible for all areas of operations, training, federal and state compliance, and licensing for 300 security officers. In 1993 Mark accepted a Regional Vice President position and assumed the responsibilities of 12 Branch Offices in 5 states. He was responsible for training management teams, overall business operations, individual profit and loss, business development, and acquisition integration. Mark has earned numerous awards over his career, and is recognized as a leader in the security industry. |

MIKE GREMBA, VICE PRESIDENT
Mike spent eight years as a police officer in Mt. Lebanon, PA and was a member of the police department's SWAT team. For twelve years, he was a supervisor in physical security for Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh, PA and Chevron Oil in San Francisco, CA and Houston, TX. He also spent time as a licensed private investigator. Mike is ACT 235 (Lethal Weapons Act) certified and a certified instructor in nonviolent crisis intervention, as well as a certified narcotics canine handler. Mike has recently retired from his position as an adjunct Safety and Security professor at the Pittsburgh Technical Institute in Oakdale, PA. |
MIKE WIATER, CORPORATE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Michael has 27 years of experience in security operations, site vulnerability assessment, and investigative services. He began his career working for a security and investigative services company owned by former Allegheny County Sheriff Eugene Coon, quickly progressing to Chief Investigator and then advancing to Operations Manager. For the past 7 years, he worked for an international security company as the Senior Field Inspector and became a Certified Security Manager. He was a Pennsylvania State Constable and is ACT 235 (Lethal Weapons Act) certified. He is also OSHA-10 certified and was previously active for many years as an Assistant Chief for a local ambulance service and an Engineer for a volunteer fire department.

FRANK MANCINE, REGIONAL MANAGER CLEVELAND
Frank has over 35 years of hospitality experience with different branded hotels. He also has combined his hospitality background with 10 years of security experience. Frank is currently our Regional Manager servicing the Cleveland market. He has a passion for providing great customer service, he believes in team building, and his award winning service is evident the minute you meet him. Frank currently resides in Cleveland, but he is a native of Pittsburgh, and one of the biggest Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fans that you will ever meet. |
CHRISTY BEAVER, ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
has returned to work for our company as our administrative manager, responsible for payroll, invoicing, and HR. Christy has previously worked for us as an Office Manager from 2011 to 2020. She started with the company in 2007 as a security officer and was offered promotions for her drive, ability and loyalty. She managed her different positions while acquiring three college degrees, Associates in Criminal Justice, Bachelors in Business Management, and a Masters in Human Resources. Christy enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite activities when she is not busy is deer hunting with her husband during Archery and Rifle season and reading a good book.

MATTHEW MEFFORD, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Matt Mefford has over 12 years of contract security experience throughout the Pennsylvania Ohio, and West Virginia region. Matt was a member of the football team at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his Bachelors Degree in 2004. His career began with a national security company in Pittsburgh, Pa. In 2009. He was promoted to Regional Manager in 2010. He became responsible for all areas of operations, training, and safety for 3 offices in the Pennsylvania Region, and oversaw 300+ security officers. Matt’s security experiences include once being the lead on a week long executive protection detail for former Vice President Al Gore, and overseeing on-set security for a Hollywood production starring Russell Crowe.
Fun Fact: Once lived in Sydney, Australia for 4 years.

DAVID DOUGHERTY, RECRUITER OPERATIONS
David joined Capital Asset Protection in October of 2022. He started his security career in West Virginia as a security guard in 2018. His first opportunity for advancement was with Reynolds’s Memorial Hospital where he was promoted and became the Site Security Director and managed over fifty employees. David took a job offer with another facilities management company and became assistant account manager for security operations within the Allegheny Health Network. David works with a high sense of urgency, paying attention to detail, while performing a variety of tasks that support the overall corporate mission of recruiting candidates, training, managing and matching skills to the needs of current and potential clients.

Christina is a retired police officer from Indiana. With 22 years of experience in law enforcement, she has proactively patrolled high crime neighborhoods, assisted with the hiring process of police candidates, provided training to newly hired officers, and presided over neighborhood watch meetings. Christina has a enormous love for the community and really enjoys helping others. In her spare time, Christina likes spending time with her family and friends.
